HMHH Publishing strives to encourage the public to present their side of the story. The purpose is to keep the legacy of the struggle for independence of the Somali people alive. Along the way, we will examine the role played by the Somali Youth Club from 1943 to 1947, later to become the Somali Youth League from 1947 to 1958. Throughout this long journey, Hagi Mohamed Hussein led both organizations from 1944 to 1958 with the exception of a short period of time, that is 1953 to 1956 that he was out of the country to regroup in Cairo.
